A Letter to John Fluevog

Dear John,

While I was on your website I came across the shoes shown below and became instantly smitten. I would be forever in your debt if you reintroduced them. You brought back the Munster for your 40th anniversary, why not bring the "Grand National Shoe" back for a little while? I really need to have those on my feet.
Thank you John!

Eye Candy: Vintage Typewriters

I love vintage typewriters. I used to own one. But when our house flooded so did the typewriter and I had no choice but to throw it away. Ever since I have been in the look out for another. Well, today while I was doing one of my typewriter searches I found this one:

It is a Royal Quiet DeLuxe in Red from 1957. Unfortunately it has been sold, not that I would have been able to buy it if it were still available. But a girl can dream. Every time I see one, I get the urge to write and be creative.

One day you will be mine! For now you will just go in my inspiration file.

I spy with My Shoe Eye: Miu Miu Spring 2010 - A Love Letter

Dear Miu Miu,

I love your Spring 2010 shoes. They make my heart sing, my stomach tingle and a rush run through my body. We must be kindred spirits because I can totally see myself wearing them, you have done no wrong in the design of these shoes.

I will save all my penny's to get me one. I will have one.

I love you, xoxo

PS: Miuccia, you did so well with the shoes for Miu Miu. What happened to the shoes for Prada? That Velcro on the shoes looks like a nasty band aid. Not very attractive. I still want the Spat boots from SS/08, if you send me a pair in a size 9 I will forgive you for that slip and give you my first born. If you do not want my first born we can negotiate on other terms of payment that is not monetary. Thank you! :-)

I Spy with My Shoe Eye: Alien Footwear

Have you been keeping track of the fashion shows? You know I have, I just decided not to blog about them this time around. BUT, exceptions can always be made. Especially when you see something so awesome that even though everyone and their grandmother is talking about it you also have to put your two cents in.

Behold the shoes of Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 RTW:

You all know how much I love me some McQueen. The guy is simply a genius. While everyone is playing it safe or redoing something that has already been done. McQueen is practically reenacting the movie Alien into his design.

My only question is how long did the models practice walking in those shoes?

Shoes Dancing Across my Eyes

I just realized that all my posts this week are all about shoes. I hope you all do not mind but I think I will continue the theme today.

I love these Giuseppe Zanotti boots that I saw at Zappos. But like 99% of the shoes I like they are expensive. That is If you consider $1,079.00 expensive. :-)

I Spy with my Shoe Eye: United Nude Shoes

United Nude makes some very fun and very cute shoes. There is no exception with the "Mobius" boots above. They are stylish, interesting heel and perfect for the fall. If only I could wear them, but I have been cursed with the calves from hell and most of my boots have to be custom made if I want them to fit.

What do you think?

Double Vision

Alexander McQueen Pelle Bootie:

Steve Madden Seryna Bootie:

I am really loving the McQueen bootie but why pay $1,159.00 when I can get the Steve Madden for $149.95?

Unicorn Feet

I could not resist. Trust me I tried. But I just had to get the Jeffery Campbell Michelle shoes a.k.a the Unicorn Shoes.

I am glad I waited to get them because I ended up buying them for cheaper then what they cost at Solestruck.

When I first put them on I was not really feeling them but after prancing around my place last night with them on, they have grown on me and I am loving them. I wish I would have gotten them a size bigger because the front of the shoe is a tad narrow but I think they will be fine after a bit of wear.

They are here!!

I feel like I have been waiting forever for these boots!

Alice + Olivia for Payless Shoes Biker Boots. I saw them in the August issue of Nylon Magazine and I knew I had to have them. I stalked the Payless website and the minute I saw them pop up I purchased them. Now they are here and I cannot wait to wear them out!

If I still lived in England...

This is the car I would be driving:

Nissan Figaro

Why does the US not have cars like this? *sigh* I love this car.

Incubus Concert

Here are the picture's from the concert. They are not the best since I was sitting all the way in the back. While I was able to see the concert just fine, my camera was not able to capture everything that well.

If you have not seen Incubus in concert, I highly suggest that you do.

Because the guy is not hot enough, he had to go and take off his shirt.

I tried to upload video but blogger was not cooperating.

Enjoy!
