Christmas Came in the form of Electronics.....

Santa was very good to me this year. Either I was a very good girl (I was), he knew that I had a really rough year (I did) or he really loves me (he does). But whatever the reason, he did great, I love it all, I appreciate it lots and I love him lots.

Items pictured above:
- Olympus E-P1 Camera. I have wanted this camera since Olympus came out with it. If you like taking pictures and are not into a big DSLR camera but want something better than a point and shoot. Get this camera! It is beyond awesome. Keep in mind it is not a DSLR, it is a Micro Four Thirds camera so while you get amazing pictures it has its limitations. Learn more about the Micro Four Thirds Camera's here and see some amazing pictures here, here and here.

I am going to start a 365 project of my own on January 1, so get ready to see lots of picture's with my new toy.

- Case Logic Camera bag - I could not find the same exact one pictured above but I found one similar on Amazon here.
- Tamrac 3445 Rally 5 Camera and iPad bag in Black- When I need something bigger to carry all my gadgets.
- 32gb iPad - I love this thing. You can tell by all the smudges that it gets a lot of use.
- Leather Red Sena ZipBook - I love this cover for my iPad but very recently I found this site and I am loving all the skins, especially this one, this one and this one.

Last but not least. Do you all remember my posted about these shoes in March? I waited to get them because as much as I wanted them, I wanted to spend my money on other shoes. Well, a few weeks ago I went on Zappos and noticed that they had a sale going on. So I checked out the shoes and they had one pair left, in my size and they were under $100. SCORE!! So I bought them as a Christmas present to myself.

What did Santa bring you this year?

Ciao!! xoxo

PS: Did you know that they still show old episodes of Soul Train on TV? I am jamming to Kool & the Gang right now. Love it!

Dior = Love

I thought that after the drool fest that was Dior's spring 2009 collection nothing that Galliano would come out with next would make me drool as much. He has proved me wrong yet again. I am in LOVE.

After looking at that collection I am not even going to comment on Vivienne's line, which I must say left me very disappointed.

Until next time, Ciao! xoxo

Paris Fashion Week 2009: RTW

Well tomorrow is the start of Fashion week in Paris and I am ready. Below I am listing by order of appearance the designers that I will be watching:

Wednesday:

- Corinne Cobson: She is an up and coming French Designer. Not much about her online but I have seen her stuff in several magazines and I like what I see.

Thursday:

- Balenciaga: Do I need to say anything else? hehehehe.....

- Hiroko Koshio: Asian designers have been on point lately and my eye is trained on Hiroko. I have always been a fan of hers. Her designs are so refreshing and easy to wear. Nothing complicated, just feminine and fierce.

- Rick Owens: American designer that set up shop in Paris. I do not know how I feel about his designs. His S/S '09 collection did not shake my fashion bones but I still want to see more. My interest in him was perked with his RTW S/S 2008 so I am hoping that it was just not a one time deal. The jury is still out.

- Nina Ricci: The name is pretty self explanatory but I must say I am not the biggest fan of this label. What can I say, I am hard to please. I only started following this label more closely two seasons ago because of one reason Olivier Theyskens. Just typing his name brings a shiver to my spine and drool just a tad. Yes, ladies and gents I am a fan girl. I have been a fan girl since his years as creative director at Rochas.

Friday:

- Vivienne Westwood, Lanvin and Dior

Saturday:

- Jean-Paul Gaultier: I love that freak. He can take a garbage bag and put it on a model and I would probably swoon. I think I was his gay lover in a past life.

The rest of the week does not really need much of an explanation so I will just list the designers. I love them all, I wish I could afford them all but until I marry my Prince in shining armor I will continue to dream and drool.

Sunday:

- Karl Lagerfeld, Emanuel Ungaro, Christian Lacroix, Givenchy

Monday:

- Zucca, Viktor & Rolf, Manish Arora, Yves Saint Laurent

Tuesday:

- Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen

Wednesday:

- Chloe, Limi Feu, Hermes, John Galliano

Thursday:

- Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu

Until next time, Ciao!xoxoxo
