I found out on Monday via Facebook that Teena Marie passed away and I just had to take a little bit of time to pay homage to Lady T. Here are two of my favorite songs by her and I cannot leave out her duet with her mentor Rick James.
Such a wonderful human being that was taken away from us way too soon.
The last time I saw Pantera live was at Ozzfest back in 2000. My god, even if you are not a fan of Metal there was no way you could have stayed still when they hit the stage. This video is their whole set from the last day of the tour that year:
1999 and 2000 were the best Ozzfest years. 1999 because of the Deftones and Rob Zombie and 2000 because of Pantera and Incubus.
I have a post on MJ that has been sitting on my draft folder since June 24. Every time I try to finish it the tears wont let me. So if you do not mind I will just play his video's till I can complete it.
This video is further proof of what a dancing genius he was. I get goose bumps every time I watch him dance. Is like part of the air he breaths.
This morning on my way to work my Ipod decided to play this song.
I forgot how great Pre-Bobbie Whitney was.
I had goose bumps listening to this song and even at 7 o'clock in the morning when I am at the height of bitchiness, I cranked up the volume and sang from the top of my lungs. I just love this song.
I am sure you guys have seen this video everywhere. But I really love it and needed to add it here. How is your day going? It has been a beautiful day in Virginia.
I like some of Jennifer Lopez's songs, they are great to work out to, this song I do not like. But the reason I am posting this is because of the fall. It is not a big deal that she fell, shit happens. But what is funny is that she went on to say that it "was all part of the act".
