Thursday: Paris Fashion Week

Balenciaga: I was not impressed with the collection. The draping of the of the skirts (as you can see in the 3rd photo) made them look like they were wearing diapers, I do like the skirt from the first picture and the suite in the second picture is nice. The prints he used in the collection just made me think of old ladies going out for Sunday tea.

Rick Owens: I do not even know what to say about his collection. Just that it made me think that I was looking at Star Trek characters dress in black and white.

Nina Ricci: I loved and hated this collection. I do not know what is up with these designers and the big freaken shoulders! They sucked in the 80's and they still suck now! ARGH! Anyway, I will just show you some of my favorites from the collection.

Pat McGrath = LOVE

Have I ever told you all how much I love Pat McGrath? I mean I love her so much that I want to have her babies. I even over look the fact that her name is connected to Max Factor. That make-up line is crap but because she is the creative director I will not say ill things of Max Factor. At least until the day she is no longer attached to them. I have nothing to say about Cover Girl, for being a drug store brand they are not so bad, I even own one eyeshadow from them. BUT I digress, this post is not about Max Factor or Cover Girl. It is about Pat McGrath.

Pat together with hair stylist Guido Palau put together a look that is not only feminine but also edgy. Sort of reminds me of the Robert Palmer girl's minus the red lips.
