This blog has been very quite. Is not because I want it to be this way, is just that I have not had much inspiration. It is that balance thing I spoke of before.

While I wait to get my mogo back, I have been spending a lot of time on my Tumblr page. Such an easy tool, all I need is my iPhone and Instagram and I can keep it up to date while I wonder about life.

I know I said that I was going to post pictures of the shoes that I wear during the week but with my change in job this is the only thing that I get to wear:

Not very pretty right? While I love my new job I am sad that I cannot wear my shoes. But this does not stop me from wanting and lusting after shoes. Like these very pretty Zara shoes, birthday shoes maybe?:

Balance...

Hi guys! I know that I keep playing the disappearing act. But I promise it is not on purpose. I just need to learn how to balance life. I seem to be having a very difficult time with that this year.

As I look back over this past year, it has been a very long and rough year for me. But with less then two months to go It is looking like it is setting up to end on a positive note. I have made new friends, I have an awesome new job and I am feeling much happier over all.

Now all I need to do is learn how to bring balance to my life. There is so much that I want to do and so much that I want to blog about but I keep running out of time. I always thought that with the older you get, the better you get at life, but I feel like I am going backwards. I think about the things that I did in my twenties and I wonder where I found the time? or how I did it?

Maybe I am looking at things all wrong. The problem may be that I am trying to run my life like I did when I was in my twenties and I need to get off that bandwagon since I have been out of my twenties for a while now. I have a wonderful life and I am letting it slip by because I am too busy trying to figure out how to capture a point in time that has past instead of adjusting to what I have, making my thirties the best time of my life. Right?

Anyway, I will get off my soap box. I think that for the rest of this year I will take it easy and work on finding that balance because it is there. I am not saying that I am abandoning my blog, that I will never do. I am just asking for you guys not to give up on me as I try to figure this out.

In the mean time feel free to follow me on Tumblr here. I end up posting there almost daily since I can post on the go using Instagram on my iPhone, or you can follow me on Instagram, my user name is devilishgurl. I have a Twitter account but I do not use it. For some odd reason I just cannot get used to it.

Target stop messing with me....

I have been looking for an inexpensive pair of Cheetah pumps. I found a pair at Aldo's for $100 bucks but I wanted to spend a lot less than that. I looked in Ross since I found my animal print boots there but no such luck. So I looked on the Target website and I found these shoes:

Cute right? and for under $40 bucks I decided they were worth getting. Now on to my beef with Target. I bought these on the 4th and on the 5th they send me an email that it is on it's way to me. They also gave me a nice little tracking number that I can click on as many times as I want to check where they are. The problem? That as of today there is no info on the UPS site. They have not shipped them yet! What the hell are they waiting for? I want me shoes here so I can wear them!!!

ARGH!!! I have never ordered from the Target website and is looking like I wont be ordering from the site again. They are too slow at shipping and I am too impatient.

Desperately Seeking Susan

I do not know what made me think of this movie today but I have been thinking about it none stop. I think the reason why is because lately I find myself feeling a lot like Roberta Glass, the character played by Rosanna Arquette but more on this later. The movie is not the greatest but it is a fun, quick watch when you want to watch something mindless and silly.

Last Summer Manicure

With Fall fast approaching (September 23rd) this is may be my last summer manicure of the year. I do not paint my nails as often as I used to due to the horrible shape that they would be in from continuous use of nail polish and nail polish remover. I am wearing a nail polish by Essie, I do not know the name since the tag fell off the bottle. If you know it please let me know and I will update this post. The flower was made using Kiss Nail Art Stencils and Kiss Nail Art Polish.

Ignore my cuticals, lately nothing that I do seems to get them hydrated enough. Base coat bottom coat is the usual.

Trench Coats and Kate Middleton

Ever since Kate Middleton was thrown into the spotlight there has been an obsession by some to follow her every style move. I really do not care what the woman wears but with the fact that I spend a lot of time reading fashion magazines and websites I cannot get away from it. So it is no surprise that I eventually saw a picture where Kate is wearing something that I love:

Burberry London Ruffled Wool Trench Coat.

Of course it has sense sold out and even if it were not sold out there is no way that I would be buying it because we all know the price tag associated with a Burberry Trench. So I just saved the picture away in my inspiration folder knowing that at some point copies of the Trench will start to appear and appear they did. The only problem was I was not willing to pay $226 at Nieman Marcus for this:

But I have found one that is within my price range and looks more like the Burberry than the one above.

Ruffle-Trim Classic Trench $89.95

That is a more agreeable price and it is just as cute as the Burberry. Also, you can get it for much less if you take advantage of the discount that New York and Company currently has, like if you buy just the trench you can $30 off the price. Not bad right?

Roller Derby!

Last Saturday Mr. P and I headed to the DC Armory to catch some Roller Derby action. Let me tell you these chick's are badass. I am officially addicted to Roller Derby and cannot wait to attend more bout's. Below are some of the picture's that Mr. P took of the DC Roller Girls.

The DC Roller Girls consist of 3 teams and they are: Cherry Blossom Bombshells, DC Demoncats and Scare Force One. They also have the All-Stars team that consists of the best players from the 3 teams and they represent DC against other Roller Derby teams.

I cannot wait till the bout on the 14th!

This year I decided to get TOM shoe as my summer shoe. I have got to say that I am really loving them. They are super light and comfy. I also love the fact that by buying a pair there is a child in need of shoes that will get one.I decided to go with the black canvas as my first pair and I am already looking at which will be my next pair. Maybe the red pair or the silver glitter? They are both super cute. But I will say, there is just one thing I do not like about them and is that they make your feet black.

Are there any TOMS wearers? Did you have the same problem? Is there anything that can be done about it? I hope that with time it will stop.

The House has voted to defund Planned Parenthood.

I am a firm believer of freedom of choice. The decision that a person makes on how they want to run their life is theirs to make. Right or wrong, wether I agree or not, it is not my life and is not my decision to live with.

I do not take kindly to someone telling me what I can and cannot do with my (in the famous words of Charlotte from SATC) See(C) You(U) Next(N) Tuesday(T).

I love the pro-lifers and their self righteous speeches about "right to live". But where are they when the child is born? When the child is being neglected, beaten, living in poverty, etc?

Did you know that according to welfare statistics 47.9% of the mothers on welfare are between the ages of 20-29? Did you also know that 57% of women who get abortions are in the same age range? Can you imagine how many more women would likely be on welfare if the choice would be taken away from them?

Now, let's step away from abortions. Let's talk about the other things that Planned Parenthood does for us that the Government has cut funding for. HIV testing, STD testing, cancer screenings, birth control, sex education, and so much more. Services that Planned Parenthood makes available for everyone, especially those of lower income.

Imagine if Planned Parenthood went away because there was no funding? Those who cannot afford to go to a traditional doctor will be ass out. Basically the House is saying, "I do not care about you. I care more about Nascar".

Yes, ladies and gentleman. The House decided that Nascar is more important than your health. They will continue to sponsor via the Pentagon # 37 Impala stock car. Last year alone they spent 7 million of our tax dollars to sponsor it.

That made me sick to my stomach.

Enough is Enough. We have to stop the government from treating us like second class citizens. We are human, we have rights and we have the right to choose how to run our lives.

Please, I beg you. No matter if you are pro-choice or pro-life, please help to keep the funding for Planned Parenthood from being cut. They do so much more than just give abortions.

I am sitting having a Sex and the City marathon and playing around on iTunes. Updating my playlists, checking out Ping and looking for new music. When I took a peek at my music wish list and noticed that I am currently at 147 albums and the tally is at $1,607.37 my eyes almost fell out.

When did it get that big? So much music, not enough money to buy it all. But I know that the list will only continue to grow and I will continue to dream about owning them all. Who knows maybe next time I will be the winner of the jackpot and I will be able to click the "Buy All" button. What do you think?

Christmas Came in the form of Electronics.....

Santa was very good to me this year. Either I was a very good girl (I was), he knew that I had a really rough year (I did) or he really loves me (he does). But whatever the reason, he did great, I love it all, I appreciate it lots and I love him lots.

Items pictured above:

- Olympus E-P1 Camera. I have wanted this camera since Olympus came out with it. If you like taking pictures and are not into a big DSLR camera but want something better than a point and shoot. Get this camera! It is beyond awesome. Keep in mind it is not a DSLR, it is a Micro Four Thirds camera so while you get amazing pictures it has its limitations. Learn more about the Micro Four Thirds Camera's here and see some amazing pictures here, here and here.

I am going to start a 365 project of my own on January 1, so get ready to see lots of picture's with my new toy.

- Case Logic Camera bag - I could not find the same exact one pictured above but I found one similar on Amazon here.

- Tamrac 3445 Rally 5 Camera and iPad bag in Black- When I need something bigger to carry all my gadgets.

- 32gb iPad - I love this thing. You can tell by all the smudges that it gets a lot of use.

- Leather Red Sena ZipBook - I love this cover for my iPad but very recently I found this site and I am loving all the skins, especially this one, this one and this one.

Last but not least. Do you all remember my posted about these shoes in March? I waited to get them because as much as I wanted them, I wanted to spend my money on other shoes. Well, a few weeks ago I went on Zappos and noticed that they had a sale going on. So I checked out the shoes and they had one pair left, in my size and they were under $100. SCORE!! So I bought them as a Christmas present to myself.

The last time I saw Pantera live was at Ozzfest back in 2000. My god, even if you are not a fan of Metal there was no way you could have stayed still when they hit the stage. This video is their whole set from the last day of the tour that year:

1999 and 2000 were the best Ozzfest years. 1999 because of the Deftones and Rob Zombie and 2000 because of Pantera and Incubus.

Mulberry for Target

Pebble Large Tote $49.99

Today was the release of the Mulberry for Target collection. Over all I liked the collection, I was not a fan of the patent bags, made the already cheap bags look cheaper. But I loved the large tote pictured above. I carry a lot of crap around so I need something that is large enough to hold it all.

Handmade Envelopes

Remember this video I posted on making envelopes?

Well, I made 15 envelopes the other day while watching T.V. It was so easy and fast to make. I mailed out 5 envelopes to 3 people. I hope they like them. I made them all out of scrapbooking paper.

Also, remember this bookmark? Well, I made another one because the first one I mailed out did not make it to the person I mailed it to. The mail goblins must have taken it in route to Canada.

I made it a little different this time around. This time I used heart scrapbook paper as the back of the bookmark and I used purple ribbon instead of a bead. I mailed it out on Saturday and hope this one makes it to its new home.

Another Bag

I made started this bag on Friday and while making it I realized I had ran out of black webbing, so on Saturday morning I made a mad dash to the fabric store. I wanted to be able to mail it out Saturday since it was the mail deadline date for this swap. I really procrastinated on this, but I blame it all on the crazy budget schedule that I have going on at work.

Anyway, here is the final product:

It is the same pattern that I make my other tote bags. But this time I decided to make it a little narrow and a little longer. I really like how it came out.

Below are some of the postcards that I received recently from Postcrossing. This site has had me going on different adventures hunting down State postcards to send people. It has not been easy but I did get a few pointers on where to go buy them from other people that live in Virginia.

From Austria:

I have never been to Austria, but it is on my list of places to go before I die.

Mount Rushmore:

This is such a pretty postcard. This is another place I have never been too. But would not mind taking a road trip there at some point.

Gloucester Cathedral:

I lived in England for two year and never went to this cathedral. I traveled the country extensively but for some reason never made it to Gloucester. Next time I visit England, this Cathedral is going on my "to visit" list. A fun fact about this Cathedral is that some of the Harry Potter movies were filmed there.

I have gotten other postcards, but these are by far my favorite so far. Do you like postcards?

Artist Trading Cards or ATCs

I think I am hooked when it comes to making ATCs. I made my first one a couple of weeks ago, which I am extremely sad that I forgot to take a picture of it. At least I remembered to document these before they are mailed out to their new homes tomorrow.

These skulls were made for an ATC swap. I drew the skull on white card stuck then I freehanded the design, colored it with brush markers, then I cut the skull, cut out the eyes, nose and check with my craft knife.

For the male skull, I covered the ATC blank with a cute skull scrapbook paper I found in AC Moore, then I glued the doll eyes and attached a bow tie.

For the female skull, I made the skull as I did above but for the background I used a glittery spiderweb scrapbook paper and what I used as I bow tie for the male, I used as a hair bow for the female.

The ATC below I made for an Alice in Wonderland swap. The person hosting it is doing a whole series of these. where you have to do an ACT for each chapter of the story.

This one is Chapter One:

I drew the background, except for Alice and the Rabbit.

Last but not least. This one is not an ATC but I wanted to show you guys anyway. I made the below bookmark for another swap. Thought I give it an honorable mention since I really like how it came out.

I need to make a few more ATC's when I am done I will post them here. But in the mean time I want to know what you all think? I know I can use some improvement. But I figured the more I make them, the better I will get.

Weekend Crafts: More Handmade Bookmarks

The latest swap I joined is to make two handmade bookmarks for my partner from a nice graphic. After looking at my partners profile I saw that she liked to go to Broadway Shows. So I got the great idea to make her a bookmark using the image of a Play Bill and this is what I came up with:

The bookmark came out looking so great. I was so proud of myself. After I was done I went off to check my partners profile to see what else my partner liked to make the second one. Then I noticed on the swap description it said "No Computer Generated Printouts". That meant that the above bookmark was no good. I was back to the drawing board.

After some searching I found two very pretty and colorful birthday cards and I made the following bookmarks:

I decide last minute to send all three of them to my partner. I hope she likes them.

I have a lot to blog about. I was going to do several posts on Sunday but the power went out and by the time the power came back on I was ready for bed. Here are some of the topics I have up and coming:

3) A few new blogs: On Swap-bot I did this awesome swap where I discovered some new blogs. We were suppose to check out 10 but along the way I saw others that I liked, I will be blogging about them in the next day or so.

4) Postcards: I am becoming addicted to postcards. I will share with you a few very awesome ones I received in the mail recently.

Alright, those are the main things I have planned for the week. Also in between I will have my normal Hump Day Video and Shoe post. This week I will not have a nail of the week due to the fact that I am giving my nails another break.

Snow Globe Postcard Fail....

For one of the swaps I am in, I am supposed to make a Snow Globe postcard using this tutorial and send it to my partner. I made one yesterday and after much work is was a failure. I decided that I was going to wait for the weekend to try round two, but I REALLY wanted to try again NOW.

So after I cooked dinner today I put in the movie Remember Me (by the way if you have not seen that movie, you must. I will warn you though, it will have you in tears by the end) and got to work on my card.

It took me almost two hours to almost complete it. I know, I am slow. I really wanted it to be perfect. Well, it is not perfect and this is why, the stupid sides of the card wont seal!!! I do not know if it is the type of paper glue that I am using or the paper is playing games with me.

This is what it currently looks like:

I am leaving it under heavy books overnight. Maybe with some drying time and pressure the card will seal, but for now I am calling it FAILED. If by some miracle it seals I will finish it tomorrow and post the final product. If it does not, it is back to the drawing board.

Past Manicures and Star Wars Pancakes

I know it has been a while since I posted a manicure of the week, so I am posting pictures of some of the nail polishes I have worn recently. There are other pictures, but at the moment I cannot find them. Let me know if you want names of any of the polishes and I will hunt them down in my stash.

On another note, not related to nail polish, I bought the Star Wars pancake molds from Williams-Sonoma.

Mr. P then made me perfect Star Wars pancakes. It took some practice, but I must say he did excellent.

Now I want the Star Wars cookie cutters.

Crafty Weekend

On Saturday while Mr. P was at work, I spent my morning singing at the top of my lungs to Michael Jackson's Dangerous CD and sewing my life away making this:

I made this bag for my partner on Swab-Bot for the "Make me a Handmade Tote Swap". I had so much fun making it and loved how it turned out, that I signed up for another handmade tote swap.

After that it was off to make a "Handmade Bookmark". My partner loves Hello Kitty. So I only thought it appropriate to make her a Hello Kitty bookmark. I added silver embossed stars, then I reinforced the bookmark by adding as a backing a pretty cloud scrap booking paper. To protect the bookmark since it was made from card stock, I put it in a plastic holder. I used a star shaped hole puncher to add a hole to the top of the plastic holder, got some pretty blue jewelry thread, added a pretty pink bead and hung it from the hole.

These final 2 packages also went off to new homes. I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures of what I put in them.

I mailed off everything today. I am pretty sure the bag and the last two envelopes will get to their new homes quickly. The bookmark I am not so sure how long it will take to arrive to it's new home, since it is going to Canada. I just hope they all liked what I sent. I put a lot of thought and love into everything.

Today, I also received quiet a bit of mail. But like a little kid, I was too excited and started playing with everything I got and forgot to take pictures. But I did snap a quick picture of a postcard that I received so that I can show Mr. P, since it never made it home because as soon as I saw it I posted it on my bulletin board in my office. It was a huge hit with the people in my office.

I had such a great and relaxing weekend. It was just what I needed after such a rough week. I was sad for it to come to such a quick end.

Rough Week

I thought moving to a new project would take me out of my work funk. I thought that it would improve my working life and things would get so much better. Especially with the fact that I would be around the corner from Tyson's Corner Mall. But I guess it is just not the way I thought it was going to be.

Is like the universe is trying to tell me I need to just leave my job. So here we go again, back on the job hunt. What a waste! The sad thing is that I actually like my new office, the location that I am in and even though it is not my dream job, I do enjoy it. But upper management is making my life a living hell and I have reached the end of my rope.

On a positive note, I have joined swap-bot and I am having so much fun. Doing my little crafts and sending them out to someone that will enjoy them is really great. I have failed at taking pictures of the things that I have sent out but starting this weekend I will be taking pictures and posting them here.

Status on Sofa

The hunt for a new sofa has been temporarily put on hold.

After further discussion with Mr. P we decided that at this time it will not be a good idea to buy a new piece of furniture. Since in less then a year we will either be moving out of State or we will be looking for a new apartment.

So instead of buying something that may not work in our new place. We will just save the money and purchase it when we move.

OOTD: 100 Degrees???

It has been miserably hot and humid in the good old DC area. So this week I have said the hell with office wear. I am going to dress as comfortably and as light as possible without being too unprofessional. Is not like I get many visitors and I am alone 98% of the time. I have also decided that this will be a no make-up or contacts wearing week. Why put on make-up when it is only going to melt off?

I have joined a couple of penpal networks in the hopes of meeting new people from around the world. I also feel that with this technology driven world, the handwritten letter is dying.

I think we have all gotten so spoiled by technology and our busy lives that we have forgotten how special it is to receive a handwritten letter from a friend. Once upon a time, I used to love opening my mailbox, but in the last few years it feels like a chore, since all we get is bills and junk mail.

I do not want my trip to the mailbox to feel like a chore anymore. I want to get excited each time that I go to my mailbox in the hopes of finding a letter from a new friend. It is a great feeling knowing that someone took time out of their life to send me a letter, even if it is to say hello.

Do not get me wrong, I love to hear from everyone, no matter how they choose to communicate with me. But I want to also be able to write to someone and share with them a hand written note, that adds a something little more personal then what an email or text can offer.

Dear Insignificant Piece of Trash Barton,

I never thought I would ever hear anyone sound more stupid then Rush Limbaugh. I really did believe that Rush was the king of the stupids, but today you have proved me wrong.

As I sit here typing this, I feel like I am in an alternate universe and what came out of your mouth was just a poorly executed joke.

I sat in total shock in my conference room listening to your opening statements, apologizing to BP for the fact that the President of our country made sure that BP paid for their fuck up. Even Hayward looked like he could not believe that you in fact were being that stupid.

Barton, you said this morning that " I do not want to live in a country where any time a citizen or a corporation does something that is legitimately wrong is subject to some sort of political pressure". Well, then GET OUT! LEAVE! WE DO NOT WANT YOU HERE! What BP has done is not wrong, it is CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE and people go to jail for that!

I know that you have a vested interest in the big oil companies, because they are the same ones that have made you rich. But there comes a time when you have to take your head out of your ass and think about all the lives that this disaster has ruined, the environmental disaster that this spill has caused, and lets not forget the people that died in this explosion, the children that are now left with out a father, a wife with out a husband, and a mother with out a child.

You sir are a first class asshole! Please do get the fuck out of this country, why don't you call up Rush and run off into the sunset on a one way ticket to Costa Rica. This country and it's people will be better with out you BOTH.

By the way, that retraction that you were forced to make by the Republican party? You can stick it up your ass because I know, we all know, that you did not mean it. We know that it was, using your own words a "Shakedown".

Sofas

Below you will see my top three sofa picks for our living room. I want a sofa that is under $500, pretty, and comfortable. As you will see the first sofa is over $500. I am considering it because it is my style and super cute. We just need to do the sit test before I fully commit to it.

1) White Leather Karlstad Sofa, Ikea $879.00 This sofa was not on my list. But I saw it on Apartment Therapy a few days ago and I loved it and it quickly became my #1 choice. The only thing I do not like about it is the wooden legs, it just does not go with it. But after further investigation I can easily change them to something that will go more with the style of the sofa.

2) Red Ektorp, Ikea $479.00
This is my 2nd favorite sofa. This used to be my 1st favorite until I saw the white leather sofa. It is comfy, it is in my favorite color and the cover can be changed if I feel like changing the look of it.

3) Korndal Medium Gray fabric Karlstad, Ikea $479.00

This is the fabric version of the leather sofa above. It is a nice sofa, but the white one is better. I put it on the list because it is very similar to the white one and cheaper so I would like to take a closer look.

So which one should I get? 1, 2, or 3?

Nail of the Week: Bare Nails

It has been a while since my nails have been in this great a condition. I have no bite marks around my nails, dry cuticles, and my nail beds are not the ugly yellow color that comes from painting them.

I spent about 3 weeks babying my nails. Keeping them free of polish, moisturizing, applying cuticle oil, filing, buffing and keeping my teeth away from my fingers. I am very proud of myself an hope that I can keep them this way.

Now all I need to do is find the perfect base and top coat that will keep my nail polish from bubbling.

Living Rooms

I have been thinking a lot about Living Rooms, our living room in particular. Our living room looks like one out of a college guys apartment. With a broken couch, book cases over flowing with books and breaking apart.

I started digging into my Interior Design folder and I pulled some of my favorite living rooms. I do not remember where I got most of these pictures, with the exception of the green and white

Ikea room.

Since we are apartment dwellers and where we live management does not allow to paint the walls. So I am left to add color via furniture and accessories.

That Weight Thing

I have really slacked off on my weight loss goal. I keep saying excuse after excuse as to why I cannot go to the gym or even eat properly. I want to loss weight, but there is something in me that does not want to do anything about it.

The good news is I have not gained all the weight back that I lost. Since my last weigh in I have only gained two pounds. While that is a small victory, it is still nothing to celebrate since I should be a lot closer to my weight goal.

In a month I will be running a new project at work. I will not have available to me all the eateries that I have now. So the temptation will no longer be there to eat all the bad for you food. I will now have to bring my lunch to work everyday or starve.

I also need to start going back to Weight Watchers. I have thought many times about cancelling my membership but I know I need it. They are very helpful and it works! All I have to do is follow the plan!

I have made a list of what I need to do, what my weakness is when it comes to accomplishing these goals, and what needs to happen in order to not let my weaknesses keep me from doing what I need to do.

1) Working Out
Problem: I was working out in the mornings, but that is just not working out (hahaha...). I am NOT a morning person.
Solution: I have to stop kidding myself about this morning work out thing and just work out after work. I need to take my gym bag to work, a snack such as yogurt or fruit to have before or after working out to tie me over till dinner.

2) Lunch
Problem: I do not take my lunch to work. I always forget to pack it or I am just plain too lazy to put it together. I need to stop relying on Mr. P to fix my lunch.
Solution: When I go grocery shopping buy easy to make lunch stuff for the week, which I can just take to work and have it there. This way I do not have to worry about fixing lunch in the morning or trying to remember to grab the lunch bag. It is helpful that in my new office I will have a full size fridge and pantry space. Making this solution very feasible.

3) Cooking Dinner
Problem: While mostly we have been good about this. There are those days that we do slip up because it was a rough day or we are too tired, etc. There is nothing wrong with those days, the problem is we order out and that just messes us up.
Solution: Always keep easy and quick things to make in the fridge. When ever possible cook ahead of time for the week. Mr. P and I need to sit down before we go grocery shopping and plan our meals for the week. That way we are always ready.

4) Weekends
Problem: Mr. P and I have too much fun stuffing our faces while we are out. While it is ok to have an off day and go out to dinner, lunch or breakfast one day out of the weekend. We need to stop doing it on both days of the weekend and for every meal. Or if it cannot be helped because we are away from home make healthier choices, then running to our favorite Mexican restaurant and stuffing our faces with the most fattening stuff on the menu.
Solution: Plan for the weekend. A lot of the times Mr. P and I know what we are going to do any given weekend, so there is no reason why we cannot plan what we are going to eat. We need to plan better and stick to it.

4) Weight Watchers Meetings
Problem: I do not get my butt to them. Main reason is because I do not want to see the number on the scale when I know I have not been following the plan.
Solution: Follow step 1 - 4 and I wont have a problem with weigh in.

If you have read this far, I am sure you have realized that the theme in order to be successful on this weight loss thing is to PLAN AHEAD. Planning and sticking with the plan is the key to being successful. We will always have other temptations, but we need to remember why we are doing this. We are doing it to live healthier lives and fit into the mountain of tiny clothes in the closet. :-)
